What is the story behind Ragnarok Online?

Ragnarok Online is based on the 10 volume manwha by Lee Myung-Jin which dabbles in Norse mythology. According to the old Norse legends, Ragnarok itself is explained as the last battle the world will ever known where Gods and Demons will themselves fall and most of the world will perish along with them. Set in the land of Midgard, heroes of all shapes, sizes, and classes set out to engage in the epic battle between humans, monsters, Gods and Demons.
